Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 7, 2026

Quick Math is built to process your screen captures locally on your Windows computer. This policy explains what the app does, what it sends, and what stays on your device.

Screen Capture And OCR

Quick Math only captures screen regions that you select. Those captures are used locally for OCR and calculation. Quick Math does not upload screenshots, OCR text, detected numbers, or calculation results to our servers.

License Activation

When you activate a license, Quick Math sends only the information needed to validate your subscription:

The device ID is a SHA-256 hash generated from Windows device information plus a Quick Math app salt. We do not send the raw Windows MachineGuid.

Local Files

Quick Math stores settings, history, and license data under your Windows AppData folder. Calculation history is local. OCR text is not saved in history unless you enable that option in settings.

Payments

Payments and subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Quick Math does not store your payment card details.

Website Data

The Quick Math website may receive standard web server logs such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and request time. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting, and service reliability.
